I have a long-term condition and keeping strong and flexible is important for my health.  After a recent issue with bursitis in both hips which led to problems with my knees, Sara adapted my training plan to help me to keep attending sessions with her while protecting joints and muscles where needed.  As this has now lasted for over 3 months, she has helped me maintain muscle strength and general fitness during a period when I could easily have given up and retired to a chair!  I am very grateful to her for her knowledge and patience as she has coached me through this frustrating time!

We’ve been working together for just over a year now and I’ve really seen a big impact in my game following our sessions. The weekly sessions are a welcome respite to the monotony of work & family life – Not only being a great trainer, Sara is also a fantastic listener. In between sets (which often isn’t a lot of time – @Sara hint hint), I have the chance to offload some of my life challenges. However trivial they may be, Sara always has a kind word to say or helps to rationalise.

I have just completed my first block of sessions with Sara and I am really enjoying it. I no longer live in the UK but as all training has been online recently I thought I would try virtual PT. The virtual aspect of the training has not been a problem at all. What I most like about Sara is that she asked up front what exercises I hate. She also really listens to my feedback about how I am feeling, muscle pain etc, and modifies workouts accordingly. I look forward to the sessions and because of the variety of exercises it doesn’t feel boring. Sara was recommended to me by a good friend and I would definitely recommend her to anyone. She is professional, communicative, really friendly and easy going too. I am really happy that I started working with Sara and I already feel stronger and healthier!

As an anxious and easily stressed individual, Pilates has helped me to take a breather and relax my mind. It’s the only time in the week where my mind isn’t flipping somersaults and I’m able to focus on just me! Sara has helped me to refocus on my strength and instantly helps me to relax within the first moments of a session. Starting with a full body roll down or just some basic shoulder rolls and slow breathing, I’m immediately transported to calmness. I’ve started to see such an improvement in just three months; reduced anxiety, stronger in my core and the ability to better control my breathing.   So far, Pilates has been enormously refreshing and I look forward to continuing to build on my strength and working with Sara, who has been so tremendously fabulous and patient throughout!
